This 7.7 x 58mm load uses a 180 grain soft point bullet. This projectile, along with a 58mm case, makes it a capable hunting or target option for your Type 99. These rounds feed and function flawlessley in Type 99 rifles. There is a misconception that soft points do not feed in a Type 99. Work the bolt like a man, and you’ll have no issues. If you have any issues, we stand behind our product and will take care of you. Batch update 5/11/23: This batch has a velocity SD in the low single digits and a pressure SD in the low hundreds. This is an exceptional load!
