Description
Due to popular demand, this is our hard cast 45/70 load designed for penetration. At 1,450 FPS (in shorter, 18″ barrels) this load is capable of breaking bones and deep penetration on deer-sized game and bears. Recoil is stout but not excessive.
This load is not suitable in Trapdoor Springfields as the pressure exceeds what those old rifles were designed to handle. It is safe in all modern 45/70 firearms. The overall length allow proper cycling in lever action rifles and use in Magnum Research’s BFR Revolvers.
